He served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Adelaide Coy; brother, Don Coy; sister, Patricia Coy; 10 children; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015 at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Co 80033.
A memorial has been established in William’s name with King of Kings Lutheran Church, 8300 Pomona Drive, Arvada, CO 80005.
