William attended high school in both Colorado and in Utah and then went on to work as an auto mechanic for several shops including Harold’s garage and the Adams County Government.
In 1983 He married Christine Mitchell, with whom he shared many beautiful years of marriage and had his two sons with.
He will be remembered for his contagious smile, deep voice and long hair. He excelled with anything having to do with vehicles and was a hard worker. He was a great father and never allowed his disability to hinder teaching his boys.
He is survived by Ex wife Christine Mitchell; children, Miles and Zane Mitchell; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by Father, William Mitchell Sr., Mother Shirley Eichinger and Sister Deborah Mitchell.
A funeral / memorial service will be held on 07/24/2026 at 10 at Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery – Crown Hill, 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033
