Dear Linda, Bobby and Billy, I send my condolences.  I knew both your Father and Flo. I coordinated the Senior Programs at 20th Street Recreation Center. Your Father and Flo came to many of our programs.  Willy traveled to many of the Recreation Centers, Highland and Barnum.  I saw him last over at Barnum not too long ago. The Seniors had a Birthday Potluck at 20th this last Friday.  They called and called your Father to invite him. I heard this evening, that he had passed.  
He would tell me stories about surviving heart problems in the past. We found out soon after I met Willy and Flo that I had gone to school with several of his children.
Once a year we had a Mayor's Ball, and your father would dance with all the senior ladies in our group. He certainly will be missed.

My Uncle Willie, I will always have a special place in my heart for you. As someone who wanted me to be a part of his family, someone that cared for me at a very young age. You were so true to life and your family, you never changed. 
The uncle Willie I knew as a child was the same person I grew to know as an adult.  I will always have you in my heart Uncle Willie.  I will never forget the nick name he gave me "his Nuttie" and how special I was to him.
