Wilma Deane Schaffer

Terry Leon Schaffer and wife, Mary, passed away on June 12, 2026, after a long hospice stay. Her final moments were peacefully at A Change of Seasons, assisted living, Lakewood, CO, at the remarkable age of 100. Her long and full life began on December 27, 1925, in Beloit, Kansas, where she was born to a family that would shape her enduring values of love and kindness.

Wilma was predeceased by her devoted husband, Edwin Schaffer, with whom she shared many cherished years. She was preceded in death by her sisters Arvilla and Betty and her brothers Keith, Dale, and Robert.

Wilma was also the proud grandmother of five grandchildren; Jerry, Cindy, Steve, Brian, and Tommy. She was also blessed to have five great grandchildren; Soren, Ethan, Rhys, Greyson, and Isabel.

Services will be on June 30, 2026 Tuesday at Our Lady of

Fatima, Catholic Church, 1985 Miller St. Lakewood, Co. 80215.

Viewing will be at 9:30 am, Rosary at 10:00 am, Funeral Mass at 10:30am. After the service, a luncheon for family and friends will be served in the Parish Hall at the church.

Interment will be at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery.
