Ione Hustede "Gospel Grandma," 89, of Wheat Ridge born Oct 31, 1921, went home to be with her Lord on January 19, 2011 after battling Alzheimer's for 9 years. Preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Herman "Birdie" Hustede. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Hustede, Linda Hustede and Donna Kager (Bruce); grandchildren, Michelle Kager (Khris Weisenborn) and Adam Kager; 5 great-grandsons, Jason, Leam, Cameron, Sage and Gabriel; sister, Mary Lou Hutcheson; "adopted" daughter, Linda Jangula and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service and interment will be Thur, 12pm at Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery.
