He was born February 25, 1934 in Jonesboro, TN to Homer and Blanch Peters. Woodrow retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant and he also retired as a manager from At&T.
Woodrow loved fishing, bowling, and playing Black Jack. He was “A Good Man”.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Peters, his parents, and his mother-in-law, Ivadell Dieken.
He is survived by his sons, David (Tammie) Peters and Steven (Kelli) Peters; grandchildren, Katherine Peters, Amanda Peters, Ryan Peters and Lisa Peters; sister, Francis.
Visitation will be held from 9am-10am, Thursday, December 11, 2014 with funeral services immediately following at 10am, Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection.
Full Military Honors will be conducted immediately following his service at the Olinger Crown Hill Mausoleum.
