Bernadine Antoinett Tursell, age 94, of White Lake, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was born May 20, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, to her late parents Walter and Karoline Oskowicz. Bernadine was a wife to her late husband Daniel and a mother to her three children. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, and gameshow.
Bernadine is survived by her two sons Daniel (Michelle) Tursell and John (Donna) Tursell; son-in-law Gary Taylor; grandchildren John (Shauna) Tursell, Dan (Kayla) Tursell, Sarah (Brian) Kaper, and Rebecca (Danny) Walker; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Sylvia Zilio.
Bernadine is preceded by her husband Daniel Tursell, daughter Deborah Taylor; brothers Tony and Frank; sisters Mary and Rose; stepsister Judy; stepbrother Eddy, and brother-in-law John Zilio
A funeral visitation for Bernadine will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan 48386, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Bernadine's honor.
