I worked with Bette for many years.  She was easy to communicate with, and she worked hard and had a positive attitude when it came to getting things done.   I always felt at ease with Bette, and she was empathetic.  In 2009, when my mom passed away, although I didn’t know Bette well at the time, she came to my mother’s wake, which I appreciated.   Our world needs more serene and kind-spirited people like Bette.  She will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Bette for the past two years. She was always so kind, thoughtful, helpful, optimistic and funny. The love she had for her family was so heartwarming. She will truly be missed.

Bette was always willing to help out anyone in need and I found her to be one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure to know. I enjoyed every day of the past 5 years working alongside her and learning from her. I am absolutely shocked and devastated by this, but will forever carry a piece of her with me. Bette was a kind, sweet and caring soul who spoke highly of her children, Tara and Sean, and grandchildren, William and Raquel. You all have been in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom/grandma was one of the good ones.

friends. I loved Bette dearly and shared a friendship with her for more than 30 years. She loved you both dearly and always spoke of your accomplishments  loveingly. My prayers are with you both, the children , and the entire family. Claire Pryor.

It has been my greatest pleasure to get to know Bette over the last 6 years. Her kindness, quick wit, and drive were most inspiring. She took great care tending to her family and frequently shared heartwarming stories of her children and grandchildren. She was a wealth of knowledge, not just of administrative tasks in the office, but in life. She wasn't afraid to be candid and speak her opinion, but she showed great care to extend compassion and understanding to others. As long as I have known Bette, I have never once heard a complaint from her. She endured the ups and downs of life, as we all do, but never lost her optimism. I will always think of Bette's approach to life and the kindness she modeled. I will miss her.

Bette was one of the first people I worked with when I came up to the office. She was caring, funny and always willing to help. I will miss talking with her and you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Bette was wonderful to work with over the many years I was able to know her - she will be missed!
