Bruce T. Enfield

Bruce T. Enfield, age 83, of Au Gres, MI formerly of Commerce; passed away on April 13, 2012. Mr. Enfield retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of dedicated service as an engineer. He was a member of the Commerce Twp. Board of Trustee for 12 years, Commerce Twp. Parks and Recreation Committee for 14 years and chairman from 1976 to 1980, Member of Mulit-Lakes Conservation Association since 1954, serving on its Board of Directors for 13 years and was its president in 1977. He was a Member of Lakes Athletic Association for 25 years and its president from 1972 thru 1974. Mr. Enfield was also a member of the Walled Lake Goodfellows and a past president of the Michigan Bow Hunters Association as well as a charter member of the Walled Lake Jaycee’s and served as president from 1958 true 1959. Beloved husband of Doris Enfield; dear father of Sterling (Lisa) Enfield, Mark (Shari) Enfield, Tim (Diane) Enfield; proud grandfather of Justin, Russell, Daniel, Sara, Parker, Carson, Chase, and Cooper; great-grandfather of Moira, Landon, Trinity, and Sawyer; caring brother of both the late Bonell (Joy) Williamson. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Visitation hours will be Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Commerce Memorial Cemetery, Commerce.
