I so appreciated Candy and Joe coming to see my mom (her Aunt Lucy) in August of 2016. They packed up their trailer with Candy’s dialysis equipment and camped south of Grand Rapids. A great memory is of Candy, Joe, Aunt Evelyn, my mom, and I crammed into Mom’s bathroom during a tornado warning. While in there, my brother called from Germany. Quite a family gathering! On that trip, Candy proudly showed us pictures of all her beautiful grandchildren. Our sympathies to all who loved Candy. Such a loss.

My beautiful cousin Candy will be missed terribly by a family that loved her immensely. She was someone I looked up to as a child and have so many memories of throughout my childhood. Her family has lost so much so suddenly and my heart and love goes out to all of them. Candy, you were special and I will never forget you, the memories we shared are forever. Be at peace dear cousin❤️

Candy was my baby girl. A loving and caring daughter and a best friend. We did lots of things together. We spent summers behind her house in our Airstream Trailer between Airstream Rallies. Grandpa and Grandma took care of the boys and dinner was ready when Candy got home from work. She liked that. Candy and Joe would take their vacation and we would go to rallies together. We really enjoyed those many trips and did many highway miles together. After Howard was gone, Candy and Joe took me to some rallies with them. A Mother never expects to loose her children before she goes and I miss her terribly already.
