Carol Jean Utkan, age 72, of Milford, Michigan passed away on January 13, 2026. Carol was born on November 14, 1953 to Walfred and Elaine Tollefson. She was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in South Lyon. She worked as a caregiver and crossing guard. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog Baxter.
Beloved wife of the late Richard Utkan; loving mother of Dennis, Kristina and Gail; sister of Pastor Donald Tollefson and the late Pastor Dale Tollefson.
The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 43300 West 12 Mile Rd., Novi, Michigan 48377
