Over the years, she volunteered in Brownies, Girl Scouts, and children’s and youth ministry, and regularly visited the elderly. She also spent many hours caring for and encouraging her grandchildren.
The outdoors brought her great joy - she loved taking photos, going for walks, swimming at Teeple Lake, and tending to her plants (houseplants, flowers, and the tomatoes she shared generously with friends and neighbors).
Carolyn had a quiet and gentle spirit and a kind heart. The world will not be the same without her.
