Christine J. Preston, age 80, of West Bloomfield, passed away October 5, 2019. Beloved wife of Robert. Loving mother of Kim, Rob and Ken. Proud grandmother of Jessica, Jason and Jordan. Chris was an avid Disney fan, traveler, and photographer. Her passion for Disney became a shared passion with her husband Bob, starting with their honeymoon at Disneyland, as well as many other family trips to Disneyworld. Disney was a dominant theme in her life, and heavily influenced the relationships she shared with her family. Her love of travel was another joy in her life and she traveled the world taking pictures along the way. Her talent for photography was not limited to taking pictures of only her travels but she also took pictures at any special event and all family gatherings and these pictures are shared by family members today. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin and she will be greatly missed.

Chrissy was always so kind and cheerful and of course always snapping pictures. I mostly remember her from King Family reunions as she captured key events in the highly competitive egg tosses and candid moments chit chatting with cousins and aunts and uncles; like when Chuck Sr. and Bob (her husband) very discreetly informed me shortly after meeting my date (and eventually my wife) Susan that she was "the one." And I remember her at a couple Thanksgivings at the Holidome always enthusiastically snapping pictures capture precious moments. And I remember Aunt June and my mom and dad (Ruth and Gar) along with Chuck Sr and Patty and Bob and Chrissy sharing stories about their mysterious travels and inside jokes. They had such fun together. Chrissy just always seemed to have great enthusiasm for life. May God bless and comfort all her family and friends who will always always love her and never forget her.

We will always remember Chris for her good nature, sense of humor, and cheerful smile.
My memories wander back to holiday gatherings at Aunt June's home, Grandpa & Grandma King's old house on Trumbull Avenue, and family reunions.
When I moved to the Florida Keys, Chris and Bob made a trip down to visit. They also came to visit our family after we moved to Vero Beach.
My parents thought highly of Chris, and looked forward to the Nomad trips that she and Bob organized.
Fond memories always, and our thoughts and prayers to Bob and the rest of Chris's family.
