Connie McGowan, age 92, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. Loving mother of Jim McGowan and Cheryl Gineman. Proud grandmother of Brian McGowan, Frank Gineman, and Eric Gineman. Dear great-grandmother of Kyle Gineman. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband “Mac” McGowan and her son Daniel McGowan. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. There will be a brief period of visitation from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am on Friday, January 5, 2018 also at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army.
