I will miss my Mom in so many ways. She was a woman that was always in her kids corner and would listen to us when we called until we were done, and always offer her shoulder to cry on if needed.

As a military family Mom was famous for getting our new house looking like home in no time. She worked hard and had a great smile and good laugh and yes giggle.

She is now with her Mother and Father, Sister Ginny, Husband and our Dear Sister Sandy

Grandma was a wonderful poet. She gave me a poem that I have sung as a lullaby to all of my baby boys. I have recited this poem more times than I can count.

Sweet little baby you're so fair
Tonight I'll pray for you this little prayer
May the earth be green for you
May the sky be forever blue
May the song birds sweetly sing
May freedom's bells clearly ring
May the flowers line your way
May God bless you every day.

Thank you for these words, Grandma. Rest in peace. Love, Sheena
