Grandma, Every "first" down here without you is bitter; Knowing you're experiencing so many "firsts" in heaven is so sweet. Still missing you...always loving you.

Mother, I don't feel that you are gone. So many thoughts and visions come in and out of my mind. I don't seem to be able to control it. Perhaps because that's because you are in me. I cherish the times we have had together. The days of sitting on the hill in the shade of the maple tree, watching the boats and ducks. How precious to me.
I'll see you soon, Mother. I love you 45+P$.

Grandma had so many qualities I admired, but two of them were her strength and independence. The summer of 2011, I came over to do a little work for her in the garden. As I got out of my car, there was grandma comming out of the garage with a ladder. I asked her what she was doing, she replied, "I have a new flag I want to hang." I said "You can't do that!" to which she responded, "I most certainly can, it might take me a little longer, but I can do it." After I put my eyes back in my sockets, i rephrased, and after much debate and some seriousl pleading on my part, grandma agreed to refrain from climbing ladders, chairs, and step stools, as well as carrying such items from basement, garage, etc...if only to ease my mind. I love you very much. I cherish every moment we spent together, every memory, every hug, forever and for always

Grandma, you had a way of making me feel like I was the most important, most special person in the world. I'm certain you were the same with all your grandchildren...we were all your most favorite. You set an extaordinary example for all of us...All my love, all my life.
