Eleanor Rader

Eleanor Rader (nee Reill) of West Bloomfield passed away November 30, 2017 at 73 years of age. She was born May 3, 1944 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Eugene and Mary (nee Dempsey) Reill. Loving wife of Philip for 50 years. Dear sister of Nancy (Robert) Norton, Jeanne (the late Don) Kanavy, Alice Cognetti and Marjorie Critchley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sadly she is preceded in death by her son, Phil Rader and brother Thomas Reill.

Mrs. Rader graduated from Marywood College in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed cross stitching and in her earlier years an active advocate for MADD.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Our Lady of Refuge Parish, 3700 Commerce Road in Orchard Lake. The family will receive friends Monday, December 4, 2017 from 3-8 pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake and Tuesday at church from 10:30 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Interment at Pine Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions suggested to the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center.
