Born on March 26, 1929, Elizabeth was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Catherine (née Sedlock) Strishock. She lived a life centered on faith, family, friendship, and kindness.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony Kapeluch; her parents Joseph and Catherine Strishock; and her sisters, Pauline (Jack) Munn and Gertrude (Louis) Carreti.
She is survived by her devoted son, Greg (Roseanne) Kapeluch; her cherished grandson, Aaron; and her beloved niece, Barbara (Brian) Cassidy, along with many dear friends and extended family members.
Elizabeth was truly the sweetest person anyone could meet. She had a warm heart and gentle spirit that touched everyone who knew her. She treasured spending time with her lifelong friends, especially enjoying lunches and visits filled with laughter and conversation.
A talented baker, Elizabeth lovingly shared her homemade treats with family and friends throughout the years. She also enjoyed staying active through walks and exercise classes. An avid reader, she found great joy sitting on her porch with a good book in hand. Some of her happiest memories were attending concerts at the lake in Willowick, Ohio.
Her faith was an important part of her life, and she remained very active in St. Mary Magdalene Church, where she found community, friendship, and spiritual fulfillment.
Elizabeth will be remembered for her loving nature, gentle kindness, and the joy she brought to those around her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Magdalene Church in Elizabeth’s memory
