Erika Maria Fink Duryn

Erika M. Duryn, age 84, of White Lake; passed away on June 2, 2010. Mrs. Duryn and her husband, Josef, were owners of J.D. Tool & Gage Co. in Walled Lake for many years, and was a long time member of the formerly known Christ of the Lakes Lutheran Church. She was known for her qualities in knitting, crocheting, and her love for gardening. She will be sadly missed. Beloved wife of the late Josef, who preceded her in death on May 23, 1994; dear mother of Wolfgang Duryn, Hiltrud (Donald) Beauregard, Kenneth Josef Duryn; proud grandmother of Christa Erika Hopkins, Lisa Marie (Jordan) Wiegand, Amy Donna (Alban) Shehu; great-grandmother of Courtney Marie Beauregard. The Funeral Service will be Monday, June 7, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 9101 Highland Road, White Lake. The visitation hours will be Sunday, June 6, 2010, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Mrs. Duryn will lie in state at church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service; interment at All Saints Cemetery, Waterford; memorial envelopes will be available at the funeral home for Michigan Humane Society.
