Gail Ann Wheeler

Gail A. Wheeler of White Lake passed away January 29, 2021 at 70 years of age.

Loving mother of Michael (Kelli) Baird, Dana (Michael) Yaple, Danielle (Donald) Brock and Jason (Argean) Baird. Proud grandmother of Avery, Michaela, Casandra (Frank), Chan, Matthew (Sarah), Quinn, Hunter, Elizabeth, Ale', Benjamin and Jackson. Treasured great-grandmother of Arthur and Rosalina. She is also survived by one sister, Renee (Donald) Barrett.

Mrs. Wheeler was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting. She will be very much missed.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions suggested to the Gail Wheeler Memorial Fund.

In memory of Gail Wheeler.

100% of all funds will be donated to two causes.

1) Given her (and her families) lifelong participation within the Masonic fraternity, 50% will go to the Michigan Masonic Fund earmarked for the support of Masonic Youth Activities and Scholarships.

2) In recognition of her nearly 50 years in the Nursing profession, 50% of funds will be given to the Nursing World Coronavirus Response Fund.

I am so glad I was able to call Gail a friend and coworker. I worked with her at POH and WHH. She was a wonderful nurse. She made me smile and we laughed even when things were hard. I will miss her.

I’m so saddened for your loss of such a wonderful lady. I had the pleasure of working with her at WHH. She was a kind gentle loving person. She was wonderful with staff and residents and I always enjoyed my early mornings with her. She will be missed.
