Gary Warren Schier

February 16, 1930December 30, 2020

Gary W. Schier of Milford passed away December 30, 2020 at 90 years of age.

Beloved husband of the late Maureen. Loving father of Katharine (Joseph) Nicles of Commerce Township and Eric F. Schier of Milford. Proud grandfather of Amanda (David) Gibson, Steven (Megan) Nicles, Kyle (Kyra) Schier and Natasha Schier. Treasured great-grandfather of Ruby Maureen Gibson, Owen Gibson, Ari Schier, John Crifasi and Mathew Crifasi. He is also survived by his brother, Douglas (Flo) Schier. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Beatrice Schier, one brother, Richard (Lud) Schier and one great-grandson, "K.J." Schier.

Gary was an avid bowler and loved trains and baseball. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins. He had an infectious smile and was a very generous and kind man, known as "Grandpa" to all. His greatest love was his bride Maureen who was the "love of his life". His family was important to him and he made many memories with his children and grandchildren when he coached them in baseball. He will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins in White Lake. The family will receive friends at church on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of mass at 11:00am. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery where Gary will be reunited with his bride Maureen.
