Beloved husband of Cathy. Dear father of Tom (Laura) Hodges, Greg (Kelli) O'Connor, Kevin (Heather) O'Connor and the late Ricky Hodges. Proud grandfather of Liam, Rosalynn and the late Gage O'Connor Aryana Teeples and Josh Phelps. Brother of JoAnn (Richard) Neil, Claudia (Larry) Keehn, Mike (Collette) Hodges, Bill Hodges, Lois (Greg) Burgess and Mark (Patti) Hodges. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Rita Hodges along with his sister, Pauline Strickland and brother, Paul John "Buster" Hodges.
Mr. Hodges was a proud Marine and a member of the American Legion, Post 225. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed tanning and had a love for chocolate. He held a special place in his heart for his dogs, Echo, Roxy and the late Bell. He will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services along with military honors will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, February 7, 2022 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of the service at 2:00pm. Memorial contributions suggested to the Michigan Humane Society.
