Beloved husband of the late June Jennings Abele for 71 years, and loving father of Philip (Maureen)
Abele, Mark (Janice) Abele, Maureen Abele, Lisa Abele and the late Matthew Abele. Proud grandfather
of Shawn Abele, Adam (Kristen) Abele, Kimberly (Jim) Plaga, Dawn (Tony) Muccino, Daniel Venchenko
and Justin Cetnar. Great-grandfather of Xylyx, Yzzy, Gabrielle, Aidan, Dylan, Ashton, Tristan and
Isabella.
A Memorial Mass will be held on November 5, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church,
9086 Hutchins Road in White Lake. The family will gather at church from 10:00 am until the
time of Mass at 11:00. Masks will be required.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Detroit Firemen's Fund Association, or the Disabled
American Veterans (DAV), or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
