Gwendolyn D. Shepherd, age 89, of Union Lake, passed away December 18, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Dollege W. Powers and the late Dial Shepherd. Loving mother of Douglas (Julie) Powers. Dear step-mother of Sherry Bredshaw, the late Christopher Shepherd and many more step-children. Proud grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2015 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Funeral Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am also at the Funeral Home. Interment at Oxbow Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice.
