Helen M. Rodriguez-Walter, age 80, was born November 14, 1941 in Woodbury, Tennessee and passed away March 2, 2022 in Commerce Township, Michigan. Beloved wife of Michael Walter. Loving mother of Richard (Amy) Rodriguez and Michael Rodriguez. Cherished grandmother of Ami Pumper, Ashley Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Jackie Wilenius, Dan Wilenius, and Don Wilenius. Treasured great-grandmother of many. Helen was preceded in passing by her parents, Henry and Lillian Ford; her sister, Phyllis Papp; and her son, David Rodriguez.
There was a lot of love in Helen's life; even though she is gone now, we know that her legacy will live on in all of us. We will think about her always, we will talk about her still, she will never be forgotten. She was an incredible mother, wife, grandmother, teacher, and friend to all of us. She inspired everyone she met. Helen Marie's memory will live close in our hearts forever, and she will walk us through our lives from above until we meet again.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Burial at Commerce Memorial Cemetery.
