Henry Feldman, age 93 of White Lake, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Henry was born on April 2, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Louis and Anna (Schomsky) Feldman. Henry served in the Army during World War II in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and in Central Europe. He was awarded the Good Conduct Metal, World War II Victory Metal and 4 Bronze Service Stars. Following his time in the Army Henry reenlisted in the Navy Reserves. Henry worked for the City of Detroit Police Department for 40 years. He is survived by his loving sister Lillian Lloyd, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Henry was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne, his son Bryan, his siblings Morris, Jacob "Jack", Bessie Dawson and Meyer Feldman. Henry lived at Independence Village in White Lake Twp. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his friends there. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake, Michigan. The funeral service will be on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Glen Eden Cemetery with military honors from the United States Army. Memorial Donations may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
