

Butch was the beloved husband of Barb, marrying on January 7, 1967, at Our Lady of Refuge in Orchard Lake, Michigan. He proudly wore his Navy dress blues to the wedding, and as a proud veteran of the United States Navy, he carried that service with honor throughout his life. After his military service, Butch worked as an electrician at General Motors before retiring.
Butch leaves behind many cherished relatives and is survived by his sisters, Sandy and Kenneth Witcomb and Clarene Pitman, and his brothers, Jerry and Judy Neddo and Shauna Neddo-Lynch. He was also a brother-in-law to Bob and Deb Donohue, Jr., Harvey and Lori Donohue, Pat and Bill McAtamney, and Mike and Chris Donohue. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Butch lived life with enthusiasm; he had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying. He also loved boating on Cass Lake and Sylvan Lake, golfing Corvettes, and motorcycles. Butch was an outdoorsman through and through and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he enjoyed traveling with Barb, enjoying the sunshine of Hawaii to snowmobiling in Colorado. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW Post 9914, and valued the fellowship and camaraderie found in those organizations.
Butch will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, his family, and his many friends.
Military Honors and prayers will take place at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, located at 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI 48442.
