Jack Charles Flynn

Jack Charles Flynn, born January 13th 1995 left us suddenly June 29th 2016 following an auto accident. Jack lived life to the fullest and knew how to put a smile on anyone's face with his unique sense of humor. He was devoted to staying active as a dedicated athlete with a passion for baseball and all Detroit sports, but especially the Tigers. Captain of the Varsity football team and a four year Varsity Baseball Player, he graduated Lakeland High School with honors and continued to play baseball at Kalamazoo College. He completed the requirements for a Mathematics and Physics Degree in three years at Kalamazoo College and was planning to finish the Engineering portion of his degree at Michigan Tech in the fall. Jack enjoyed many things including the outdoors, fishing, golfing, camping and music, but there was nothing he loved more than his friends and family.

He is survived by his Father, Brian Flynn, Mother Mari Gilardone Flynn and sister, Emma, Grandparents, Janet and Charley Gilardone and Nancy Flynn as well as countless cousins, aunts and uncles. His visitation will be held 5-8PM Thursday June 30th, 2-8PM Friday July 1st at Elton Black Union Lake and his funeral will be held 11:30AM Saturday July 2nd at St. Mary’s in Milford with a luncheon following at M59 West.
