Jackie was a 2nd Mom to me. I was the only girl in the Montgomery/Chircop families of 4 boys. I would brush her long, black hair @ Cass Lake until my hands went numb. I saw her trick water skiiing with Joe, her climbing up his body to sit happily on his shoulders. I played tennis with her, badly, she was very good. I can't remember a time during my growing up that we weren't together with the Chircops. My condolences to Marc, Craig and Michael and their families.

The Chircops were two doors down from my family so I’ve know them all my life. Michael and I have been best friends since our “sandbox” days. The most memorable thing about Jackie, besides her genuine and upbeat personality, was her dedication to fitness and her practice of yoga. That was not something I had seen before. We would enter the house and she might be in a yoga pose or watching the Jack Lalanne workout program. Although it was a long time ago, I’ll never forget the days at Cass lake and the many sleepovers at the Chircop home and how Jackie (and the whole family) accepted and embraced my zaniness with great patience and humor. RIP 🙏🏻
