We are very sorry for your loss.    He will be missed. 

Jim and Joyce were the best neighbors and friends ever.  Jim was an excellent mechanic and an artist when it came to fixing cars.  He could do this unlike any other.  We will always remember our many lively conversations, Jim's generosity, and his pockets full of treats for our dogs.   

May all the wonderful memories sustain you during this very difficult time. 



I didn't know Jim but, I know Joyce and Jacquelyn. Joyce is truly a loving and giving lady. I bet she made the 61 years of marriage easy. And to have raised Jacque to be the sweetest and kind lady I have ever met says a lot about the man.  I am  so sorry for your loss and only hope all your memories help to make this time easier.

James Konkel He was one of the coolest and toughest Uncle's i had, I looked up to him, I was about 14 years old and rode my bicycle about 45 or 50 miles to his house because he had a speed boat And i wanted to go for a ride on the lake, I love hearing the story's about him and my parents when they were kids and he told them really good,You will be mist, God speed Uncle Jimmy, R.I.P.

My  Uncle Jimmy will  always have a special place in my heart. Ever since I was small he  always had such a good sense of humor,   joking and laughing.  A  great story teller with stories that  got bigger with each passing year.  You were  a great Uncle and a wonderful person! I will forever miss you very much! 
My heart goes out to your entire family and we will keep you all in our prayers.

When I think of bumping and painting cars, Jim was "The Man". He had a rare talent for taking a damaged vehicle back to looking like new.

When my son got married, I was leaving the reception hall alone. My car was parked in a dark area and to my surprise Jim appeared to walk me to my car to be sure I was safe. "A true gentleman".

He worked hard and enjoyed sharing his time with his wife, Joyce (my cousin). Together, they enjoyed taking rides and spending time at the casinos. 

Jim left behind a beautiful family, and he will be missed by everyone he touched. His memory will be cherished by family and friends. You will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace!

Jim--I know you will have many friends and family members that you will be with and I know you will be exchanging stories with Patrick Rederstorf on cars and remodeling!  You and Pat always had lots of energy, good ideas and enjoyed conversation.  Even though I won't be running into you at CVS, Kroger or family functions, your smile will always be with us. Jim wasn’t just a neighbor he was family, like a grandpa to us. A special man always there when you needed advice, help on a project or just to talk. Always felt safe going on vacation knowing he watched over us all. Always filled us in on neighborhood gossip and helped keep the park safe. Going to miss his stories, his help when we do projects and always watching him outside keeping his home so beautiful. Jim you are one of a kind and will truly be missed and never forgotten. God bless your family during this time 💕

Jim will truly be missed! Every time I saw him, we had a great conversation, lots of laughs, and he was always willing to give  me advice . I always thought the best of him and Joyce. Jim was truly a bright spot in my life, and I feel honored to have been a small part of his  .May you Rest In Peace. You will always be a part of my life and never be forgotten !!
