James "Jim" Louis Fletcher

James L. Fletcher, “Jim”, age 66, of West Bloomfield; passed away on October 29, 2010. Jim retired from Kem-Tech were he was a professional land surveyor. He graduated from Ferris State University. Jim was passionate and active with the Michigan Bass Busters of Oakland County, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, former president of the Men’s Club. He also loved spending time with his family as well as hunting and fishing friends. He will be sadly missed. Beloved husband of 46 years to Mary, dear father of Paul (Jackie) Fletcher, Anthony (Debbie) Fletcher, Maria Fletcher, Michael (Kimberly) Fletcher; proud grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of 2, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The Mass of Resurrection will be Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Road, White Lake. The visitations hours will be Wednesday from 2 until 8 p.m. at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Jim will lie in state at church of Thursday from 10 a.m. until Mass; cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to St. Patrick Church or Diabetes Foundation.
