James A. Stephens, age 41 of Commerce Twp., passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014. James is survived by his sons: James, Lane, and Levi; his mother Janet Stephens; his wife Kim; his sisters: Barbara (Bernie) Stuart, Faye (Grady) Stephens, Dawn (Jim) Combs and Carol (Dave) Gerometta. He was preceded in death by his father James Stephens. Jimmy deeply loved his children. He enjoyed fishing and watching the History Channel. He was an avid sports fan that loved the city of Detroit. Jimmy worked for various restaurants in the area and was known for his good cooking. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Commerce Church of the Nazarene, 5236 Carroll Lake Rd., Commerce Twp., Michigan. Rev. John Hall will officiate.
