Jennifer Leigh Chase, age 50, of Davisburg, lost her battle with addiction on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter: Tayler (Doyle, III) Ross; her four grandchildren: Lydia, Doyle IV, Vera, and Kezia; her parents: Wilbur and Linda Meadows; her sister, Amy (James) Johnson; and her nine nieces and nephews: Hannah, Dylan, Jared, Rylee, Addison, Carsyn, Blake, Jett, and Danielle.
Jennifer was born on August 31, 1969, at the naval hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Wilbur and Linda (Phillips) Meadows. She and Jeffrey Chase were married in 1990, and shared fourteen wonderful years together until Jeffrey’s death in 2004. In her free time, Jennifer enjoyed gardening, reading , and journaling. She loved to cook meals for her family, and she was very good at it. She was a loving wife and mother, and she adored caring for her family. As her children grew up, Jennifer seized every opportunity to be involved in Jarrett and Tayler's hobbies; she became a cheerleading coach, a Girl Scout troop leader, and so much more. In her first few years of motherhood, Jennifer was a stay-at-home-mom, but after her children began school, she became a para-educator, working with special needs children. Her loved ones will always remember her as the fun-loving, sweet, and generous woman that she was throughout her life. Her father, Wilbur, has fond memories of her beautiful singing voice. She will be greatly missed.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey; and her favorite son, Jarrett Jeffrey Chase.
In accordance with Jennifer’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has decided to have a small, private celebration of life service. No public services will be scheduled.
