The Scheen’s were like second family growing up in our neighborhood. Jimmie was the big brother and we were the pesky kids that always looked for his approval. He was like The Fonz lol. Everyone wanted to be like him (or so it seemed). He knew all of the current “line dances” to all of the Motown songs and sometimes he would teach them to us. Summers were baseball, ping pong, hide n seek (at night) and dance parties which even us younger ones were sometimes allowed to attend. Winters were snowball fights (vicious) and ice skating on the swamp. In all things, Jimmie was the leader. I really hadn’t thought about it until now, but he was. You will be missed, Jimmie. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. ❤️😢

Carolyn and Devin,
I grew up with all the Scheen clan and have many great memories from playing cards and monopoly , that took me years to figure out that Jimmie always won because they knew how to, shall we say, alter the game. But I could still beat him at ping pong. Long after my sisters and I moved out all the boys would still stop by my parents house to play ping pong or eat my mom's pies. So very sorry for your great loss. He was a special person.

From your cousin Up North. Love to you all. Sitting and remembering visits to Walled Lake and your visits to Alpena. Always looked forward to seeing cousins from the big city. You always knew the newest music releases before we did. And loved it when Jimmie would show us those great Motown moves! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Carolyn & Devon,
We’ve never met but I went to high school with Jimmie and Mike. I will always remember Jimmie as a wonderful guy, great dancer and an absolute lover of music. Heartfelt condolences to you and your family🙏🏼.

Cousins are your first best friends. Although distance as made our relationship shrink, we are still family and I will miss him in my life. I remember all the trips down to Walled Lake to visit. Aunt Jeanette was my dad's twin sister. Jimmie didn't like eating eggs until my dad scrambled them for him. I also remember Jimmie telling about the time his dad backed his 18 wheeler over his car. I will miss you Jimmie. Look forward to seeing you again on the other side. Love to your family, John and Debbie Wagner.
