Joanne and Edward began dating, fell in love, and were eventually married; sharing sixty-two wonderful years together until Edward’s death on September 28, 2007. First and foremost, Joanne was a wonderful mother and wife, and enjoyed taking care of her family. She also worked as a cashier for A&P Grocery Store for thirty-five years until her retirement. In her free time, Joanne could be found working in her garden, or staying active! Joanne was a huge animal lover her whole life; she was well-known by her family and friends for rescuing stray dogs and cats every chance she got, and she fed the birds all year round!Even at the age of 92, Joanne could be found on her knees daily praying for her family, grandchildren and friends. She loved providing for her family and caring for houseguests; she was known to her children and husband as “Mrs. Hospitality.” Joanne was a remarkable woman who will be greatly missed.
