Lars Larsen, the eldest son, was born in Cleveland/South Russell, Ohio.
He graduated from West Geauga High School then trained in mechanical and electrical fields at The DeVry Institute in Chicago. He met his wife, Sally Mitchell, at the Chagrin Valley Roller Rink, fell in love and married in her hometown of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. They resided in Chagrin Falls and were married for over 50 years when Sally predeceased Lars in 2015. He retired from the Orange City Schools where he was a building maintenance technician for 20 years.
Lars is survived by his two children Cynthia (Bill) of Tucson, and Scott (Mary) of Michigan, Grandsons Erik and Ian, and his sister Leesa Belcher of St Petersburg Florida.
