My memory of Lillian is brief but clear when she and Carl came to Los Angeles to visit Marilyn. My mother fell in love with them on that visit and a framed picture of them held a special spot on my parent's fireplace mantelpiece until my mother had passed. Marilyn is my best and oldest friend. The raising of her by Lillian makes her so wonderful. Thank you Lillian and enjoy your wings.

I am sorry for the whole family. Such a wonderful mom. I remember clearly every time Dickie and i came into the house she was in the kitchen cooking to feed her family. also her house was always so clean, Richard and i came and went often and she was still in the same place,,, cooking, lol. I didnt deserve the wonderful way she treated me but i will never forget. God bless her and her whole family...... <3

Our Mom read to us at bedtime when we were small and other children from the neighborhood came in to listen too. As a result of those bedtime gatherings, I learned to read before I started school. I became an avid reader, went on to read to my younger siblings and have carried that gift with me through my entire life.
