Lois Ann Barney, age 64 of Tawas City passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 following a brief illness. She is the beloved wife of Rodney, loving mother of Lisa (Tim) Whiting, Robert Miller, Tanya Miller Stephens and the late Michael and Natasha Miller, proud grandmother of 5, sister of Wanda Mullins, Judy (Earlie) Stacy, Patricia Watkins, Ruby (Donnie) Watkins, Delinda Kilcrease and Kathy (Alan) Sexton and the late Lee R. Mullins. She is also survived by her faithful companion Star. Lois enjoyed shopping. She liked going to the casino. She loved sports- basketball, golf and football. She was a fan of Michigan State and also cheered on U of MI. Lois will be missed by her family and friends. The funeral service will be 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake, MI. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
