Beloved sister of the late Nancy Potter. Loving aunt of Jessica and Caleb Potter. Sister-in-law of Michael Potter. She is also survived by many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Betty Holdsworth.
Lois graduated from Wayne Memorial High School. She worked at Ford Motor Company for many years and lived most of her life in the Wayne and Dearborn area. She spent a few years in Florida and Illinois, while later returning back to Michigan where she lived the remainder of her life in the Waterford/White Lake area. She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren in Waterford. Even though her last few years of life was an enormous physical struggle, she had the peace and assurance of eternal life through her faith in Jesus Christ.
In her spare time, she liked to do crafts with the ladies from church where they made a variety of things for many charitable causes. She will be very much missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Pastor Michael J. Rath officiating.
Lois will then be laid to rest in Auburndale, Florida.
