

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lorrie, a cherished labor and delivery nurse whose compassionate care touched the lives of countless families over her 30-year career. She was a woman of strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication, whose love for her family and passion for life left a lasting legacy. She was referred to by many as the classiest woman they knew. Lorraine M. Adler, of White Lake, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Born in Jackson MI 1945 Lorraine LaMarre, grew up with a resilient spirit, helping to raise her siblings after losing her parents at a young age. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her family, as she dedicated her life to guiding and comforting expectant mothers during some of their most joyful and vulnerable moments.
A lover of flowers, Lorrie found joy in tending to her garden and sharing her favorite blooms with loved ones, symbolizing her love for beauty and life. Her five grandchildren were her world; she cherished every moment spent with them, sharing stories, laughter, and love that will be forever treasured.
Throughout her life, Lorrie faced heartbreaking losses—her beloved son Michael and her devoted husband Robert of 20 years, whom she adored dearly. Despite these tragedies, she remained a beacon of resilience and grace, inspiring all who knew her.
She is survived by her children: Bradford Watson (Janette Watson), Daughter-In-Law Christie Watson, grandchildren: Kennedy DeAngelo (Seth), Hannah Watson, Reagan Watson, Tyler Watson, and Makayla Watson. siblings: Mary Lou Miller, many nieces and nephews and a community of friends and colleagues who mourn her passing but celebrate her extraordinary life.
Lorrie, you will be forever missed and always loved. Your kindness, strength, and beautiful spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
A memorial gathering for Lorraine will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, MI 48386.
A memorial service will occur Friday, September 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home with Father Tom Slowinski officiating.
