KAUFFMAN, Louise May of White Lake, passed away July 1, 2015 at age 95. Beloved wife of the late R. Terry Kauffman. Loving mother of Dorothy Jean (Sheldon) Lerman, Richard Terry (Linda) Kauffman and Pat Kauffman. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 ½ great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Sister of Frank Melpolder. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sadly she is preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Haley Lerman.
Mrs. Kauffman was an avid Detroit Tiger fan. She loved to travel and was a charter member of NOMAD's. During her lifetime, she visited over 100 countries. She was a long time girl scout leader who had the honor of Eleanor Roosevelt as a sponsor while in Washington D.C.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 3, 2015 at the White Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the service at 11:00 A.M. Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
