Lyle Edward Goss

Lyle Edward Goss, age 79, of White Lake Twp., passed away suddenly at home Sunday, May 19, 2013. Beloved husband of Mary Lou for 60 years. Loving father of Bonnie Monash, the late Guy, Connie (Bruce) Rigsby, Karen Goss (Kathy) and Deborah (Michael) Kowalczyk. Proud grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 9. Dear brother of Rita Groleau, Roy, Frank and Tom. A true lover of nature, Lyle spent his early working life as a laborer/landscaper, and then as a self-taught builder/excavator, building all his own homes. After 40 years he retired from Operating Engineers, he remained very active with his hobbies of gardening, carpentry, engine repair, rebuilding tractors and restoring antique vehicles. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Funeral Visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home.
