When we first moved to Waterford, Aug. 2004, our cat, Putter, got lost. Scores of replies to the postings I put around and about, resulted in Mark's calling me, saying he thought he'd seen my cat in his yard. So, I went over (not far away) and brought some cat food to put out, and called and called. Three times over a week and a half produced no results.
When my daughter, Joslyn, married Billy Hornett (good friend of Mark's) the rehearsal dinner
at Put-in-Bay, Ohio included Mark. That was 2009, 5 years since I had met Mark. I saw his familiar face at the dinner table, and, he too, recognized me. Small world. The world will miss Mark.
