Mark Andrew Menning

Mark A. Menning of West Bloomfield, passed away suddenly on October 9, 2017 at 54 years of age. Loving husband of Teresa. Beloved son of John and the late Diane. Brother of Eric (DeDe) Menning, Bruce Menning and Ruth (Brian) Poole. Fun loving uncle of Lacey Ann Menning, Robert Menning, Sara Odenwald, Zeke Menning, Nicole Leland, Jack Leland, Michael Poole, Gabriel Poole and Luke Poole. Son-in-law of Patricia (Joe) Kozler and brother-in-law of Vicki (Dennis) Leland.

Mark was a member of the Middle Straits Lake Improvement Association and West Acres Community Association. He enjoyed fixing cars and tinkering on things. He loved boating, water skiing and wake boarding. His greatest passion was his love for family and bringing everyone together for family gatherings. He will be missed by all.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 W. 10 Mile Road in Novi. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3-8 pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road and Saturday at church from 10:00 am until the time of service at 10:30 am. Memorial contributions suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Gleaners or the American Heart Associaton.
