Matthew Lawrence McDonald

Matthew Lawrence McDonald of Ferndale, Michigan, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 38 years of age. Dear son of Lawrence and Ramona McDonald. Treasured brother of Veronica (Kyle) Kasler and Brittany McDonald. Loving Uncle of Roman.

Matthew was the most brilliant, kind, giving, thoughtful person. When he touched your life, you felt it. You felt his love and dedication in every single word he spoke to you, every happy moment you shared, and every memory you created together. He hugged like no one else. He made cherished relationships everywhere he went. Matthew deeply loved animals, especially his wonderful dogs, Thadeus and Aida. He loved helping people through good times and bad and was always there for anyone who needed his love and support. Matthew was the most incredible Son, Brother, Uncle and Most of all Friend, he will be deeply missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends Saturday at church from 10:00am until the time of the Mass at 11:00am.

In Lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Matthew's honor to the Michigan Humane Society.
