Michael John Mulawa

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael John Mulawa, age 56, of White Lake, who left us on October 8, 2024. Born to Gary and Joyce Mulawa, Michael was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and loving friend.

Michael graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in the simple pleasures of golf, fishing, and exercising. Michael had a passion for travel, relishing visits to see his father and embarking on memorable cruises with his beloved family.

A true sports enthusiast, he was an ardent supporter of Michigan State, the Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Lions. His spirited conversations and infectious energy brought life to every game day.

Michael's selflessness was unmatched; he was always ready to lend a helping hand, making him the go-to person for family and friends alike. His welcoming nature and boundless positivity left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.

Michael is survived by his father Gary Mulawa; siblings Karen (Joe) Cockell and John Mulawa; and nieces and nephews Emily Cockell, Joey Cockell, Luke Mulawa, and Chase Mulawa.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM with memorial service beginning at 3:00 PM at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, located at 1233 Union Lake Rd, White Lake, MI 48386.

He will forever be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and the joy he brought into the lives of others.
