

MCINTYRE, Ralph H., age 87, of White Lake. Born on October 3, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on February 19, 2010 in White Lake, Michigan. Beloved husband of the late Jewel for 67 years; Loving father of H. Ralph (Mary E.), Cynthia A. (William) Drolshagen, Diana J. McIntyre-O’Donnell, & the late Richard (Susan); Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; Ralph was a WWII Veteran who served in the United States Army’s 8th Air Force as a 1st lieutenant. He was stationed in Nuthampstead, England and was lead navigator of B-17 Flying Fortresses, flying 30 missions over Germany. Mr. McIntyre graduated from Detroit College of Law in 1951. He began practicing law in Detroit, Michigan and later in East Highland, Michigan area. Mr. McIntyre served 53 years with the Methodist Union of Greater Detroit, the White Lake Zoning Board of Appeals, & as PTA President. Ralph was also a member of the State Bar of Michigan, V.F.W., 398th Bomb Group Alumni Association, & the United Methodist Union of Greater Detroit. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday February 23rd, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Union Lake Road Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan. Visitation Monday February 22nd, 2010 from 2-8PM. Memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association, Henry Ford Hospice, or the Lupus Alliance of America.
