Richard Allen Brown

Beloved husband of Sharel for over 60 years. Loving father of Tab (Susan Seman) Brown, Todd Brown, Dean (Mary) Brown and Derek (Emily) Brown. Proud grandfather of Hunter, Ashley, Jera, Drake (Kylie), Bodie, Jovie, Poppy, Slone, Trevor, Aaron, Lola, Dax and Frances. Treasured great-grandfather of Braeck. Brother of Diane Brown. He is preceded in death by his brother, Tim Brown and parents, Roy and Marjorie Brown.

Richard was a proud Navy Veteran who was stationed on the USS Intrepid. During his time in the military he worked in communications during the Cuban blockade where he was in constant communication with President Kennedy during the ship to shore transactions. He was a retired Real Estate agent and loved conducting commercial real estate in the Detroit Area where he made many friends. He loved guns and hunting and will be remembered for his keen ability to shoot a gun. He also enjoyed his many travels to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He will be very much missed by all.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake. Military Honors will conclude the visitation at 6:00 pm.
