Richard Peter Kubeck, age 72, of White Lake, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Huron Valley Hospital in Commerce Township. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Thalia; his six siblings-in-law: Dorothy Gordon, Ronald Hancock, Deborah (Gregory) Mace, Pamela (Hefflin) Henry, Craig (Darlene) Hancock, and Ida Gordon; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Richard was born April 13, 1949, in Detroit, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Richard and Vera (Orlak) Kubeck. Throughout his adult life, Richard was a baker and a supervisor at Awrey’s Bakery in Livonia for forty years until his retirement. It was there that he met his wife, Thalia. Richard and Thalia were married on October 5, 1998. In his free time, Richard enjoyed model trains.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Vera; his brother, Russell Kubeck; and his sister-in-law, Grace Kubeck.
In accordance with Richard’s wishes, cremation will take place. No public services have been scheduled.
