Robert Thomas Howell

Robert T. Howell, of White Lake, Michigan, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on June 6, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, he was a devoted husband to Michele for 46 wonderful years.

He was the loving father of Jason (Julie) Howell and Jen (Chris) Tilley, and the proud grandfather of Preston, Hudson, Carter, and Isla. He was also the beloved brother of Barb (Al) Gross and Jim (Leslye) Howell. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Kay (Tom) Kroth and Jack (Mary Jo) Howell. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Affectionately known as Bob, he was a proud graduate of Western Michigan University and a lifelong Broncos fan. He built a long and successful career as a hardworking automotive salesman and was equally dedicated to his family and friends. No matter how busy life got, Bob always made time for the things he loved: golfing, boating on Cass Lake, attending car races, smoking cigars, listening to music, and cheering on the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings.

Above all, Bob’s greatest joy came from being with his family and friends. He was a kind, loyal, and genuine man who made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life to honor Bob's incredible life will take place on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Billy's Tip 'n Inn, 6707 Highland Road in White Lake.

In memory of Bob, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
